Birthday Post: Self Appreciation

Looking back on my years and realizing how far I’ve gone from the 10 years old me who had written her dreams to land like she was so sure of her destiny. Today, I realized that I becoming the woman I always wanted to be. I’ve been through ups and downs, has made a lot of mistakes and even shitted life. I bruised myself while listening to naysayers that I am not worthy. I am not cool. I am not their girl. But today, I wake up smiling. I wake up even more kind and loving myself. Today I fully embraced the flaws and imperfections of the ideal woman that the 10 years old me has drawn in her mind.

I was never been so sure of my life where it is headed until I found myself giving whatever she deserves. Sure, peeps are trying to down what I feel, but hey, I just learn’t to love myself well that I came to a point where I only hear voices from my heart. That only positive power wins over my head. Now, I choose my battle. I now choose ME.

From washing plates chores and now swimming to a wide ocean of life. From swiping dried leaves on my school uniform to surfing on my two-piece the waves that trying to put me down. From making a paper plane to flying on my luggage filled with only excitement and courage to live. From a little girl full of dreams to a still little me who has sparked on eyes on everything she sees. Now, I feel fulfilled….

I am so proud of myself. That even on I am scared, I jump to see what’s behind the other side of the world. I test what can I do more. I take risk of what to loss and gain more. I am happy that the person who loves giving advice is now listening to herself. I am so proud that I am now living like an eagle who doesn’t see much on a day yet so sure it can fly. Now, I am braver…

To every Juan I shared my life with, the better me is bc you see the greatness in me. You’ve let me see the best in me. Now that I am a year older, I am ready to shit life again with you.

To my very important God, you made me. You have given me breath to live. You’ve created me in your likeness. You are my hero. Now allow me to live for your Holiness. Use me for Your Glory!

True Self: A Little Bit of How I Live a Life

I’ve been MIA for my blog lately. With all the workload thrown to me the past month, I have to set aside writing. But this doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten this space. No, that will never happen.

Today I wanna share about of myself. I’ve been sharing a part of me on this space but never really got the chance to talk about my self.

Little Things About Me:

Travel Changes You” is my motto. Since childhood, I am seeing myself with luggage traveling the world. After I graduated, I was immediately hired as a Digital Marketing specialist which allowed me to worked with bloggers, travelers, and influencers. A year passed, I decided to work freelance and feed my wanderlust soul whenever I have the chance and money. It’s the reason my blog was born.

I believe in luck. I am a lotto bettor. I believe that one day I’ll be the lucky winner of PCSO million prices. By then, I promise you to share the world through traveling.

I easily make friends. Maybe because I talk a lot. I hate going out alone because I can’t stand a day without talking about things in life. I love making friends with beautiful and gorgeous girls, maybe I can see things in them I wanna have. I love giving anyone compliments.

I rather sleep than eat. It’s the reason with my age 20+, I look like a 15 yr old teen. Most of the time I got fare discounts as drivers assumed I am a high school or college student. Perks of looking really young haha.

My favorite space is the library. I love reading so much. I prefer reading success books more than a romance novel. But the truth is, I’ve had read “He’s Into Her” five times already. It’s a novel from the imaginative mind of Maxine Lat Calibuso. Okay, she’s my favorite.

I am more of a twitter person than Facebook or Instagram user. But I’m using messenger every day for work-related stuff. I hate to see and read negative thoughts that’s why I choose to share positive things on my social media accounts even on my down and tough days.

I am emotional but I laugh a lot. In everything I go through, I turn to GOD.

It is says that she who reads does know more of her life. A book is a world and the cover is the door. You have to open it and enter its door to discover more what’s inside.

I enjoy reading about success and leadership books. It’s like in every page is a fuel that burns and activates my brain cells and encourages me to breath. I lost my soul in my own fantasy every time I read real-life stories of success.

One of my favorite leadership books is “Leadership 101” by John C. Maxwell.

My Opinion

This book is empowering. The collections of quotes written in here will not only help the reader to learn about being a leader, but this also will help us learn about conquering and being successful in life. The lessons and explanations for each quote will trigger our mind to think well about the real-life situation. Each is full of meaning and talks about reality. It has a solid lesson which has a great impact on every aspect of leadership. To every aspiring entrepreneur, this a must buy book as it can uplift and awakens our skills in leadership.

I want to end this review from my favorite quote in this book, “A man who wants to lead the orchestra must turn his back on the crowd”.
