Top 10 Places to See and Enjoy in Baguio City

Hey hey everyone! The past week was incredibly an awesome yet busiest time for my work so I haven’t much time spent on my blog. But hey yah, I missed this!

Today I’m thinking of planning my itinerary, get my bag, put my shoes and just lost. Isn’t this amazing? Ok Ok enough of my rants because I feel like my place is a meter away to sun, let me share you my adventure to the so called “Summer Capital of the Philippines- Baguio City”.

Baguio is the mountainous city in Northern Luzon. Called as the “City of Pines”, it became popular to tourists and travelers due to unusual cool climate, #shookt? Don’t be (Lol)

Now let me share you cool places to visit too.

1. Burnham Park
If you’re a kind who loves to paddle around, the big swan boats are waiting for you. Perfect for an awesome date with your sweetheart and family.
Do not miss to take photos with the roses, sunflowers and more gorgeous flowers and trees around the park. You may want to jog or how about rent a colorful bicycles and shout like hey yah it’s fun!
Tired of goofing around? Come and enjoy the cozy park benches and be amaze with hawkers selling souvenirs and more.

2. Mines View Park
Love a scenic view? You may want to try the overlooking park of Mines View and capture an instagrammable view of Baguio abandoned gold and copper mines and have a glimpse of Amburayan Valley. Ready your camera and wallet as souvenirs and the famous jams and delicacies of Baguio are scattered around.

3. Mt. Cloud Bookshop
Are you a bookworm? Hang out and read books from the local authors. You may want to join one of their event. They also offer workshops and talks where they share their knowledge of arts and more.

4. Botanical Garden
Nature-lover? Make sure that your camera has enough space as this place is filled with towering Pines tress, different species of bright flowers and plants. Nipa huts are present too plus those awesome ponds. Isn’t this perfect for a peaceful thoughts?

5. The Mansion
Have a glimpse of the official residence of the President of the Philippines in Baguio. You can take photos of you with the mansion as your background, feeling royalty aren't we? Yes Yes Yes!

6. Strawberry Field
You want to experience harvesting strawberries with your hand? This is perfect for you. Aside from this red berries, vegetables are inviting to be harvest too, you may want to have vegetable salad at home after a tiring yet fulfilling day of visit to Baguio.

7. Camp John hey
Are you up to extreme adventures? Cam John hey is offering their tree-top adventure rides. Superman Ride, Canopy Ride and drop on the towering trees.
This is a perfect place for picnic and pigging out as well. And oh let us not forget to wander around the graves of negative thoughts killed too soon and buried to avoid spreading like a virus at the Cemetery of Negativism :)

8. Lourdes Grotto
Do not forget to bring water with you as you dare to climb the peak of 252 steps Lourdes Grotto in Baguio City. You surely will not regret the sweat and muscle pain as the shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes will surely grant your prayers (oopss I believe it, just believe :D).

9. Ukay-Ukay Market
Baguio is famous for it’s ukay-ukay market located at Harrison Road. The night market starts at 9pm onward. If shopping is your thing, don’t miss this.

10. Nightlife
I won’t forget to recommend the night life at session road. After a tiring day of enjoying Baguio tourist spots, how about chill at the home of bars and restaurants in Baguio? They also host live performances, you might hear your theme song from everywhere. :D
Well, the above were just among of top places to see and enjoy. You would definitely see more from Baguio. I recommend visiting the place especially during the celebration of Panagbenga Festival. By this time, Baguio sports it’s best from people, places, foods, flowers and more.
